Inequities in eye care
Eye health coverage and impact in South Asia are marred by socio-economic inequity, including poverty, gender, education and geographic location, amongst others. Such inequities are significant and prevalent not just in South Asia but across developing countries. This issue seeks to capture the landscape of inequities in eye health in the region in a constructive manner for readers. It will provide an overview of challenges and social determinants that impede expansion of eye health services.
