The journal does not collect any personally-identifiable information about you (e.g. name, address, telephone number, email address) unless you have provided it to us voluntarily via post, email, or our email newsletter and subscription forms on the web site. The journal uses the personal data you give us to send you issues of the journal and quarterly emails that may be of interest to you. We may also store and process that information to help us understand more about our readers’ needs and to make improvements to journal services. The journal does not now, and does not intend to, sell, rent or market personal data about you to third parties. The journal will not share your information with third parties unless you specifically authorise us to do so. We guarantee not to disclose any personally identifiable information unless you give us your permission. 1

How secure is the information you give to us?

The journal uses password protection and industry standard Secure Socket Layers to protect the personal information kept online for use when sending email newsletters. Personal information for the journal’s paper subscription list is kept offline and is also password protected. Only authorised personnel can view your data.

How to view, amend or delete your personal information

If requested, and once identity has been satisfied, we will give you details of all your personal information held by the journal. Any incorrect information will be deleted or amended promptly and you will receive confirmation of corrections and deletions.

Requests must be sent by email or post. We will respond within 20 working days unless there are exceptional circumstances.
